What is the best used truck to buy?

I am buying a truck from a dealers auction. Can’t decide on a Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, or to go with a V6 Nissan Frontier. Although, I will unlikely tow a big boat or any really heavy load, I was thinking the bigger engines would last longer. What should I expect from a 5 year old truck with about 100,000 miles on it? Thanks for any advice.
Thank you all very much.

it all depends on the work you want to do. you looking for some heavy hauling and dont care about gasmileage get the chevy . if you wantt he fuel mileage take the frontier. both of them will last you well over 200000 with the proper care and maintenance

it depends on how often maintenance was followed and who did it,, 100,000 usually isnt much but then it could be the end of the life, never know,,,

I would stick with Chevy, or Ford, at least then you can get a crate engine if need be

I would go with the Silverado. Gas mileage will not be as good as smaller V6 trucks but the Silverado is very reliable. The looks and cargo space of the Silverado is also better than a frontier.
