Where can I find a decent 600cc motorcycle for a decently cheap price?

Hey! Shopping for another motorcycle, I had to give my last one up :(
I just got off a katana a few months ago, and I’d like something a little lighter this time around. My favorite bike ever is an r6, but I definitely can’t afford a 2006+.

Any ideas? Are auctions ever a good idea, and where might I find those?
I’m located in north Georgia.

    Your local sherrif or the DEA Atlanta may well hold an auction and sell drug seized goods. Possibly a bike will show up.

    too bad you are so far away I’ve got a 1991 FZR600 you can have for a $1000.00 a little banged up but runs great.Be a good project bike but I live in B.C. Canada.

    An older YZF-600 would be a good bike. Also the FZR-600 is a comfy bike for all day use. Maybe an older Kawasaki ZX-6R would work for you.

    E-bay, i bought lots of parts for my bike on e-bay. I bought new bike from dealer, but it was a mistake i could save at least $3,000.00 if I would buy it on E-bay, it’s cheaper a very secure, but be careful, always check sellers feedback, must be close to 100%. You can buy anywhere in USA and have it shipped to you, also you can get loan through E-bay.

    go on craigslist.com thats were i bought my bike. it is a website that basically lets locals advertise whatever they want for free. you type what you want, alot of products show up and gives you an email or phone number, call to schedule an appointment to see it and take it from there.. good luck
