A good idea is to keep the same theme going and make it stuff that people can actually use. So if it's a motorcycle benefit, auction off bike t-shirts, jackets, helmets, etc.

That sounds like a great idea! Boots, Gloves, Helmets, windshields, jackets. Things you can get for a decent price or what others might have extra of. Even fun stuff like calenders etc. Good luck

What you do is go to your membership and talk to them about where they work and see if they can get items donated. Items that are donated are then auctioned, keeping in mind the wealth of the group that is expected,if a cross section of the community then anything will be grabbed up. An auction takes lead time and can not be set up on a whim,6 or 8 months should do it now is the time to think about the end of summer. Contact the local businesses and see what you can gather travel agents sponsor trips airlines have empty seats so they donate seats on some flights golf courses may donate a set. You could go on and on, your target group is what decides what will sell the best.
