Ebay question: How do I search for expired, unsold auctions?
I’m looking for something a friend refrenced, but gave me the wrong number for. The number now refers to a motorcycle instead of what I was looking for.
Or, is there any other way to find that item so I can contact the seller?
Previous responders are completely wrong. You can do a search of completed listings.
Go to Advanced Search. Check the box for completed listings. Ask your friend ahead of time if they remember the listing title.
eBay rarely recycles item numbers. Typo is more likely the answer.
Also, if the auction in question violated eBay Terms Of Service in ANY way and was pulled *for said violation* there will be NO RECORD of it anywhere. Nada.

If the item is unsold and not listed or expired there is no way to look it up. Ebay only has the active listings on there once they expire they are gone unless the seller re-lists it.
