What’s the fuel consumption of a 50HP outboard motor?
I’m planning to commute 8 miles each way every day by boat, and have placed a bid in an auction on a runabout with a 50HP Mercury outboard, two-stroke. It’s a planing hull with a windscreen, 5 metres long, and I suppose I wouldn’t go full-throttle, just enough to go into planing mode, and then cruise along like that. The house is listed for a quick sale at right below 200,000-too much for us. Home will go to auction in August. I am about to buy a 1987 Wellcraft 192 Classic Cuddy boat that is 19′ long.?
I am buying it at an auction and can’t get a hold of anyone to ask, but is there someone who can PLEASE give me the overall length from the back of the prop to the front of the trailer, Even a rough measurement, I’m not sure how far the trailer tongue sticks past the front and how far the motor sticks past the back of the boat and trailer so I need a measurement to make sure it will fit in my garage.
