My Ebay auction ended yesterday. I have had zero communication from the high bidder. Should I re-list?

I put my boat up for auction on Ebay. I got a lot of bids and the reserve price was quickly met. The high bidder unfortunately has a 0 rating and has not responded to emails and has made no attempts to contact me.

I would wait until Monday afternoon. It’s possible that the high bidder is away for the weekend.

If you don’t hear from the high bidder, contact ebay. You will be allowed to re-list the boat without another listing fee.

Once you have determined that the bidder skipped out, post a negative feedback if ebay doesn’t delete the account.

I hope this helps.

yeah a 0 rating is a very bad sign, did you specifically state that you needed communication within 24 hours? if i were you i would contact ebay and report the winning bidder and relist.

do NOT relist until you contact ebay. then ebay will try to communicate with them, then if they dont respond ebay will tell you what to do.

I’ve been a member of ebay for so long that I’m one of the very few people for whom Ebay does not have credit card information.

    NO !!

I invite you to become my fan and follow all the business advice
I provide here on Yahoo Answers !!

You should not re-list your item yet, as you must complete the
    the following steps in order.

Step 1- Based on Ebay rules, you must give the high bidder
10 days to respond before you submit a non payment claim.
If at that point ebay can not resolve the issue for you, you now
have the ability to offer this boat to the next highest bidder.
Contact the other high bids and see if they are still interested.

Step 2- If Ebay can not resolve the issue and If you do not have
any higher bidders past your reserve price, then you can re-list
it for another 7 day term. Ebay will also waive the re-listing fee
if you are able to sell it the second time around.

Hope this helps, and best of luck.
