I had one and I think about 24 to 25 feet depending on the trailer tongue length. You should be able to view the boat before the auction, bring your tape measure. Unless you have the opportunity to have the engine and out-drive checked over by a mechanic, you should bid very low. There were some problems with the big 4 cylinder 170 Mercruiser and its closed cooling system. If it has the GM V6 Mercruiser that is likely to be a better bet. I think that engine is about 200 hp. I enjoyed mine except that if you put 4 people in it, they are all at the back because of the long cuddy cabin. With the 170 engine, it would hardly come up on plane unless you had the passengers crowd forward by the driver.

The boat is 19′, + – 6", add aprox 2′ for the outdrive, for a total of 21′. You will need about 18 – 19′6" between the winch mast and the end of the bunks/rollers. You also need minimum of 30" forward of the mast for "swing room. This makes your trailered LOA 22 – 24′. Good luck at the auction, quit at $750

Let's look at this from another direction. How big is your garage. Houses built 20 years ago have 24' garage space, Those more recent about 30 foot. well before 20 years ago like 1948 they were barely 18 feet, so If your boat is say 23 feet, it might or might not fit. Add about 3 feet for the trailer and 3 feet for the drive. So, 26 foot over all. Of course the U.S. Air Force learned to leave part of the plane outside the hanger.

of more concern on the stern should be the swim platform and how long the trailer tongue would be.

a rough "guesstimate" though would have the LOA be approximately 24-25′ (18" for the swim platform with the I/O drive down and the balance being applied to the tongue).

if it fits in your garage you also better worry about the overall height of the trailer and the boat too!!!

You cannot get a measurement on this as it will depend on the type and model of trailer used.Most trailers keep the boat weight over the carrying axles,but the overhang at the rear depends on whether its an in board or outboard motor and whether or not it is fitted when trailing the boat.The front A frame lead to the hitch can also vary,but normally the bow of the boat has a nose tie down to the trailer just behind the ball joint hitch.Most of us just park them outside.Y
