BOAT question: if i have the VIN from the boat, where can i decode it… like find YEAR and MODEL etc…?
i wanna check out two boats that will be auctioned off as lean sale, where can i find out how to decode a boat’s VIN? like which letter tells you the year, which tells the model, which tells the length…. like the car has… i actually dont know if the boat has the same decoding, does anyone know? thanks!!
well i’m not sure how to decode it, but you can always call the manufacturer and see if they give any info onthat vin.
if not, you can go here:

this will give you the detailes on the history of the boat, and i think it’s like carfax, where they also give the exact detailes (options, engine, etc…) the only thing is you have to pay, but well worth it.
